- Crown Reduction: Carefully reducing the overall size of the tree’s canopy. This is the right way to make a tree smaller while keeping its natural shape and long-term health. Ideal for letting more light into your garden.
- Crown Thinning: Selectively removing smaller branches from the inside of the canopy. This allows more light and air to pass through, which reduces the ‘sail effect’ in high winds and is great for the tree’s health.
- Crown Lifting: Removing the lowest branches to increase the clearance underneath the tree. Perfect for creating more space over footpaths, driveways, or lawns.
- Stump Grinding & Removal: Once a tree is felled, we can grind the stump down below ground level, allowing you to re-turf, plant, or build over the area. We leave the site clean and level.

A Responsible Approach to the Environment

- 100% Recycling: All timber and branches are processed and recycled.
- Woodchip for the Community: The branches are chipped and delivered to local farms and allotments to be used as mulch, improving their soil.
- Logs for Firewood: Larger pieces of timber are processed into logs and seasoned for firewood, providing a sustainable source of fuel.
- Respect for Wildlife: We are extremely careful to check for nesting birds during the breeding season (typically March to August). We will not disturb active nests and will advise on rescheduling any non-urgent work to protect local wildlife. It’s the right thing to do.
